In Dataloop’s Annotation Platform, a Recipe is a comprehensive configuration that defines how data is annotated for a specific task. For LiDAR workflows, the recipe specifies the annotation tools, label schema, and settings used to annotate 3D point cloud data, enabling annotators to efficiently create structured annotations such as 3D bounding boxes, object classes, and attributes.
Annotations reflect real-world dimensions and spatial relationships, which are critical for downstream modeling.
Supported tools and tasks include:
Cuboid and polyline annotation
3D segmentation
Spatial object labeling in point clouds
This recipe is primarily used in autonomous driving, robotics, mapping, and simulation environments.
