Supported AWS Regions

The Dataloop platform is designed to operate seamlessly with specific AWS regions that are enabled by default and have the AWS Security Token Service (AWS STS) activated. This document outlines the details of the supported AWS regions.
Criteria for Supporting AWS Regions
Dataloop supports AWS regions that meet the following criteria:
Active by Default: The AWS regions enable operations for all AWS services by default. These regions are automatically activated for use with AWS STS.
STS Enabled: AWS STS must be available in the region.

- us-east-1: US East (N. Virginia)
- us-east-2: US East (Ohio)
- us-west-1: US West (N. California)
- us-west-2: US West (Oregon)
- ca-central-1: Canada (Central)
- ap-south-1: Asia Pacific (Mumbai)
- ap-southeast-1: Asia Pacific (Singapore)
- ap-southeast-2: Asia Pacific (Sydney)
- ap-northeast-1: Asia Pacific (Tokyo)
- ap-northeast-2: Asia Pacific (Seoul)
- ap-northeast-3: Asia Pacific (Osaka)
- eu-central-1: Europe (Frankfurt)
- eu-north-1: Europe (Stockholm)
- eu-west-1: Europe (Ireland)
- eu-west-2: Europe (London)
- eu-west-3: Europe (Paris)
- sa-east-1: South America (São Paulo)

Activating such regions requires coordination with our team, and our support staff will guide you through the necessary steps to ensure compatibility with our service.
